CLOUDS TASTE SATANIC New Album 'EVIL EYE' Out Apr. 30! CVLT NATION Premieres Stream of "Pagan Worship" Track.

CLOUDS TASTE SATANIC debuts an advance stream of "Pagan Worship", the full B-side of upcoming album 'Evil Eye' at CVLT NATION. Check out the track premiere:

"...there are very few bands that captivate me immediately, especially when it comes to the stoner side of doom. Clouds Taste Satanic is among the few whose riffs give me goosebumps." ~ Cvlt Nation
Instrumental Post-Doom quartet CLOUDS TASTE SATANIC is set to release their fifth album on April 30, 2019 (Walpurgis Eve). Entitled 'Evil Eye', the new record features two 20-minute songs on two sides of vinyl and is the first of two CLOUDS TASTE SATANIC records coming out this year.

The second album, 'Second Sight', features two more 20-minute songs and will be released on October 31, 2019 (Halloween). Consider 'Evil Eye' to be Part 1 of a two record set, which sees the band maintaining their “Riffs Rule All” credo, with an added dose of introspection by way of mixed tempos, spacy interludes, jazzy breaks, and epic finales. Each song is divided into three parts and explores the worlds of Lesser and Greater Magic, which were inspired by "The Theory and Practice of Satanic Magic" which is part of The Satanic Bible.

'Evil Eye' Tracklist:
Evil Eye
Pagan Worship

Lesser Magic (first track "Evil Eye") - “consists of the wile and guile obtained through various devices and contrived situations, which when utilized can create change in accordance with one’s will.” Greater Magic (second track "Pagan Worship" track), also known as Ritual Magic - “consists of the performance of a formal ceremony, taking place, at least in part, within the confines of an area set aside for such purposes and at a specific time.”

Like its predecessor 'The Glitter of Infinite Hell', the album recordings for 'Evil Eye' were engineered and mixed by Ben Rice at Degraw Sound in Brooklyn, and mastered by Alan Douches (High On Fire, Converge, Mastodon) at West West Side Music.

The cover and inner sleeve art are original pieces by Goatess Doomwych whose work has graced numerous doom music covers and artwork posters, including albums by Dead Witches.

CLOUDS TASTE SATANIC formed in Brooklyn, New York in 2013. These Post-Doom Instrumentalists have steadily built a reputation as one of the few truly great DIY riff-heavy underground bands playing today. Patiently and deliberately developing a unique sound that melds riff-dominated Stoner Rock with Heavy Doom, their live show is a multi-sensory atmospheric display, offering a true experience and companion to their albums.

In 2014, the band released their debut album, 'To Sleep Beyond the Earth'. The debut, along with second album 'Your Doom Has Come' (2015), third album 'Dawn of the Satanic Age' (2016), and more recently 'The Glitter of Infinite Hell' (2017) have all received praise from such illustrious publications as Decibel Magazine and across the internet and social media via Invisible Oranges, CVLT Nation, Doomed & Stoned, The Sludgelord, and many, many more.

The band celebrated its fifth year anniversary by releasing 'In Search of Heavy', a four CD Box Set of their complete discography to date.

JESUS CHRÜSLER SUPERCAR blast off their first Death ’n’ Roll single “Lucifer” along with the music video from their upcoming third album

The infernal machine JESUS CHRÜSLER SUPERCAR is once again back on the dusty asphalt of the Rock ’n’ Roll Highway at full throttle. Led by their axe-swinging frontman Robban Bergeskans, the Stockholm pack, consisting of drum machine Nicke Forsberg as well as former Refused guitarist Pär Jaktholm and new guitar player Tobbe Engdahl, fire today with the single “Lucifer” their first salvo from their roaring exhausts. The title song of their new album shows exactly the JESUS CHRÜSLER SUPERCAR signature sound between the 90s’ dirty rough Rock ’n’ Roll and the up to date Death ’n’ Roll mace. In addition, Peter Hallgren from Sorcerer contributed some guitar parts. Together with the gritty B-Movie style video clip by director Pär Brannström, this single is the perfect prelude to their new masterpiece “Lücifer”, which will be released on May 24th, 2019 through Dr. Music Records. Join the hell ride into the drive-in cinema:
The single “Lucifer” is now on the grill at these infernal digital drive-ins: iTunes | Google Play | iGroove | Spotify | Apple Music | Deezer | Tidal

This time Nicke’s brother Fred Forsberg (Mass Worship, Anchor, Gust) and producer legend Tomas Skogsberg (Entombed, The Hellacopters, Amorphis) are jointly responsible for the mix of the new longplayer “Lücifer”. The mastering has been done by Brad Boatright from Audiosiege (Converge, C.O.C., Black Tusk). The result is a malicious, fierce album that merges its various musical influences from dirty Heavy Rock, Doom, Stoner and old school Death Metal into a unique diabolical brew. «In a world without Lemmy, JESUS CHRÜSLER SUPERCAR are exactly what you need», wrote the British webzine Ave Noctum. Lücifer” reveals how Death ’n’ Roll has to sound like nowadays and is a must buy for fans of hard Heavy Rock, no matter if they like Entombed, Motörhead, High On Fire or Greenleaf! JESUS CHRÜSLER SUPERCAR unite them all and yet are completely independent! A one-way ticket straight to hell!!!
The brand new album “Lücifer”, whose devilish artwork was designed by Joshua Michael Wilkinson, can now be pre-ordered as a digisleeve CD, as 180 g gatefold vinyl edition or digitally at one of the following record dealers. Take a seat in the back of the Death ’n’ Roll supercar and turn your amp to eleven: Nuclear Blast | Napalm Records | Green Hell | Amazon | Saturn | Media Markt | | Weltbild | Grooves | ExLibris | WOM | JPC | CeDe | Plastic Head | Season Of Mist | Sound Pollution | Bengans | Ginza | CDON | | | Shiny Beast | Platekompaniet | | | | | iTunes | Google Play | iGroove

See all confirmed dates below.

CORROSION OF CONFORMITY released the critically-adored No Cross No Crown full-length early last year via Nuclear Blast Entertainment. Recorded in North Carolina with longtime producer John Custer, the record marks the first studio recording with vocalist/guitarist Pepper Keenan in over a decade and, earning the #67 spot on the Billboard Top 200 Chart, #12 on the Billboard Top Current Albums Chart, and #3 on the Top Hard Music Albums Chart upon its first week of release, is the highest charting album of the band's career. Hailed Decibel Magazine of the release, "The record is filled with the kind of Sabbath meets Black Flag meets Lynyrd Skynyrd jams that were so infectious and wildly influential back when Bill Clinton seduced interns...COC doesn't try to change direction but instead revisits the approach that made the Keenan-fronted version so successful: powerful hooks, instrumental asides that will remind you of Sabbath's 'Planet Caravan' and a rich use of textures and dynamics."

No Cross No Crown is available on CD, digital, vinyl, and cassette formats. Various order bundles are available at

BEASTWARS RETURN: New Zealand Heavyweights Revisit The Riff with New Album | Release Video for ‘Omens’ Single

Beastwars on Facebook | Bandcamp | Twitter | Instagram

“Beastwars have long been regarded as one of metal’s best kept secrets.”

“Beastwars’ live prowess is downright legendary south of the equator.”

“If there is any justice in metal it shouldn’t be too long before Beastwars are dragging their distinctive sound – one which includes but is not limited to High on Fire’s molten sludge, Kyuss’s Sky Valley grooves and the rhythmic backbone of Unsane – to a sweat and sawdust venue near you.”

Returning in 2019 with what will undoubtedly become one of this year’s most revelatory releases, IV, the fourth instalment in Beastwars’ canon is life affirming in more ways than one.

So heavy and heavily admired around the world, New Zealand's legendary metallers are back this June with a new lease of life – quite literally – following vocalist Matt Hyde’s recovery from Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. After undergoing six months of treatment in 2016 he is now in remission and today the band announces their long-awaited return, along with the release of their first single in three years, ‘Omens’.

Shaped by Hyde’s recent experiences through his diagnosis and subsequent treatment, he was given an opportunity to look into the abyss, beyond life as we know it. "Throughout the treatment I was numb,” he explains. “It's interesting to have the ability to confront that, to confront the void, to confront the idea of mortality. I didn't make peace with it either."

The experience and loneliness in isolation of treatment gave Hyde plenty to consider. Life, friendships and relationships, especially with his then ten-year-old daughter resulted in a record that leaves nothing unsaid. "I was lucky that I had music to express what had happened to me,” Hyde says. “A lot of people don't have that. I was very lucky that we could make a record. I took the time to process it and turned it into something else."

In 2011, Beastwars released their self-titled debut to critical acclaim and in doing so transformed New Zealand's metal landscape forever. Reviewers celebrated the album’s, slow-burning blend of lysergic and premonitory metal and compared the band to Kyuss, Neurosis and Godflesh, while hinting at influences as diverse as The Jesus Lizard, Black Sabbath, and in Hyde’s ‘avant-grunt’, Celtic Frost.

Two years on from their internationally acclaimed debut, Beastwars returned in 2013 with Blood Becomes Fire, delivering ten songs that retained the strength and psychedelic power of their first while presenting a kinetic evolution in vision. Closing the post-apocalyptic trilogy, 2016's The Death Of All Things signalled the long overdue arrival of one of metal’s best-kept secrets, out from under and ready to take on the world full tilt.

To celebrate the band’s fearless return to the fold, Beastwars will tour New Zealand and Australia in June/July (see below) and perform at the Dead of Winter Festival in Brisbane.

IV, the new album from Beastwars will be released on Friday 28th June 2019 and can be pre-ordered on limited edition vinyl, cassette, CD at It will also be available across all digital stores and streaming platforms at

STRIKER Announces North American Tour Dates w Holy Grail, Bewitcher

Edmonton's STRIKER will be hitting the road this summer for the 'Deadly Ripping North American Tour' with Holy Grail and Bewitcher. The 21 date tour will kick off in Phoenix, AZ on July 12th and wrap up in Los Angeles on August 4th (dates listed below). STRIKER is touring in support of their sixth studio album "Play To Win" released this past October via their independent label Record Breaking Records.

The band comments:

"Hitting the road with our brothers of shred Holy Grail this summer to bring our new album 'Play to Win' to fans across North America! This is the summer of the Road Dogs, and we will be doing many more shows across North America and the rest of the world before it's all said and done. There's never been a better time to headbang in the front row!"

Champions in blending classic heavy metal, hard rock, and 80’s hair metal, Canadian shredders STRIKER's sixth studio album "Play To Win" features 10 fist pounding shredtacular anthems produced by the band plus mixed and mastered by Hendrik Udd (Firewind, Powerwolf, Hammerfall, Delain). The album follows their 2017 self-titled full length that the band supported with tours across Europe and North America with Sonata Arctica, Dark Tranquility, and Warbringer along with festival appearances at 70,000 Tons of Metal, Bang Your Head Festival (Germany) and more to add to their almost 1000 shows performed in their decade-plus career. That fifth studio album also garnered them a nomination from Canada's JUNO awards, the country's highest music prize, along with wins at the Edmonton Music Awards and Western Canadian Awards.

Guitarist Tim Brown comments on "Play To Win":

"Play to Win: if you want to win you have to play the game. Find the rules and break them. This is our 6th album and 3rd independent release. If we followed the rules and listened to the industry people we'd have gone absolutely nowhere. Play To Win is about listening to yourself, following your own path, and playing that 5th ace hidden in your sleeve. This album is designed to light a fire under your ass and get you moving, and we made sure to get the most modern, ear melting sounds possible. It's all about where metal is going, not where it has been, and this is our soundtrack to success."

Album CD order, stream and download available on, iTunes, Amazon and Spotify.

"Play to Win, which might be their most balanced effort yet. It’s their most catchy, too: the likelihood you’ll be singing along with every song before they finish is very, very high." - Metal Sucks

"expertly combined killer arena rock choruses with well-done, cleaner verses." - Metal Injection

"Six albums in six years. That is something almost unheard of, even in the modern era of production that considerably lessens the time needed to record and mix albums. Striker always seems to provide a new album right around when I start to wonder, “Hey, I wonder what Striker is up to?”. PLAY TO WIN is the band’s 6th LP and to my ears, one of their best. Rest assured, the band has not altered their sound. This is still classic metal, mixed with modern elements that continues to leave all pretenders in a cloud of choking dust." - Metal Rules

“You can hear influences ranging from Dokken to Metallica on Play to Win, and it’s all done with masterful songwriting, performances and production. This is a slick, aggressively-mixed record that drips with excitement and replayability... Striker have produced their best record since City of Gold, and all fans of straight-up hard rock and metal need to own this album.” - Heavy Music HQ

“Striker have knocked this one out of the park and into the stratosphere. You’d be hard-pressed to find a catchier slice of fine cheddar this year, and I’d highly recommend it.” - New Noise Mag

Swiss black metal pioneers S A M A E L are back and re-release their legendary albums Lvx Mvndi and Solar Soul.

S A M A E L are widely known for their Industrial Black Metal armed with wind sections passing through shivering synthesizers. On point and frighteningly brutal, fiery whirlwinds of hypnotic hammering riff forces overlay gruesomely gurgling vocals driving you over the edge. Now the band releases their groundbreaking records Lvx Mvndi and Solar Soul as highly acclaimed re-issue on Napalm Records today!

To celebrate the release day the band premieres a new lyric video for the track “Solar Soul”. Don’t miss out on it HERE:
More info on S A M A E L:

S A M A E L awakened on the 14th of July 1988 when brothers Xytraguptor and Vorphalack loaded their musical gear into an atomic bunker. Almost 20 years after that day the band experienced a rebirth with the release of Solar Soul (2007). The album, co-produced by longtime producer Waldemar Sorychta and mixed by Stefan Glaumann (Rammstein, Within Temptation...) is now fully remastered and will be released with the addition of 9 bonus tracks (2 remixes, 6 instrumental songs, 1x live track).

After resurrecting black metal in the early '90's with their debut album Worship Him, introducing symphonic metal in 1994 with Ceremony of Opposites and pionieering industrial metal with Passage in 1996 ; S A M A  E L released Lvx Mvndi in 2011, a record that built a bridge over the 20+ years of the band's history by melting all sides and personalities of the band into a masterpiece. Now the album has been remixed from stems, remastered and will be released with the addition of 7 bonus tracks.

The band will follow up the single release with a performance at Northwest Terror Fest 2019 supporting Chicago's Indian (Relapse).

"...a controlled groove spiraling off into previously unknown soundscapes. It’s a psychedelic mix, one that could easily have spun out of control, but Rosenschein keeps a steady hand on the wheel. While I made plenty of comparisons to Dylan Carlson in the first review, it seems like we’ve driven through the ghost town where he set up shop." -Echoes and Dust

Heralded as one of the most cerebral and psychedelic audio/visual sensory experiences in the realms of the current extreme music scene, UFOMAMMUT has worked tirelessly for twenty years since their formation in 1999. The trio - founded by Poia, Urlo, and Vita, a lineup which has remained solid to this day - was formed in a small room in the middle of nowhere in the Italian countryside province of Alessandria. Their goal was simply to survive the boredom of living in a small town, while also hoping to reach other listeners all around the globe.

As UFOMAMMUT'sslow-motion seismic grooves and mammoth, supernatural/interplanetary tones caught on within the doom, stoner, and sludge scenes around the planet, the band quickly developed an intensely loyal following in their early years. Their sonic alchemy has steadily continued to morph and expand with each album, with their productions becoming even heavier while also more psychedelic and expansive, a diverse flood of swirling effects and atmospheres permeate their conceptually-based albums.

Around this same time, UFOMAMMUT members Poia and Urlo as well as their close friend Lu also launched their art collective, Malleus Rock Art Lab, creating detailed, hand-drawn and vibrant screen-printed artwork for each album. Malleus has expanded as well through the years, developing a very wide spectrum of clients and an impressive collective resume of intense artwork through record covers, fanzines and underground magazines' illustrations, images and logos for the web, concert posters, and more. Along with the band members, Lu's influence and work is vital to UFOMAMMUT's visual aspects, from albums t merchandise, live projections to official videos, and more.

The Malleus collective also launched their own label, Supernatural Cat Records, responsible for the release of such artists as MoRkObOt, Lento, Incoming Cerebral Overdrive, OvO, Zolle, and more in addition to UFOMAMMUT titles.

UFOMAMMUT signed to Neurosis' label Neurot Recordings in 2012 where they've since released four albums, which has helped the band expand its grasp and reach even more new listeners.

The band has also spawned several other side projects, including the psychedelic outfit Sonic Wolves which Vita has formed and who has issued several titles in addition to performing live over the past several years. The Mon, the solo project of Urlo, was launched in 2018 with its debut LP and live actions.
