BORN INVINCIBLE represents our attempt to find a sonic crossroads somewhere between heavy stoner rock, Budos Band-style doomfunk, and the kung fu sampling aesthetic of Wu-Tang Clan. It features a guest appearance by Chris Kobialka of Ripple artists Mother Iron Horse on drums, and is designed to get heads banging and booties shaking in roughly equal measure.
This is a Bandcamp-exclusive release, with all proceeds donated to the International Rescue Committee. We knew we wanted to pick a charity to support war refugees, especially as we approach the anniversary of the invasion of Ukraine, and the IRC is among the top-rated charities in the world for that cause.
