Mark Kitchens, who you may know from the doom-jazz duo Stone
Machine Electric, is releasing his latest installment of Slow Draw music
entitled Gallo. Slow Draw is a drone psych output bordering on a soundtrack
style of music.
Gallo was recorded in March and April of 2020 in the
Electric Station. This is just a name for the rehearsal shed out behind
Kitchens’ house. This album is a bit different from the first few Slow Draw
albums in that there are a few tracks with lyrical content. Gallo is a
reflection of current times attempting to capture and preserve those different
emotions.
