Fan-filmed video footage of Ripple favorites, Sarke's performaing at this year's Wacken Open Air festival — which was held July 30 - August 1, 2009 in Wacken, Germany made it's way onto youTube.As all you waveriders who read The Pope's intense review, Sarke is the Norwegian band featuring Sarke (Khold, Tulus, Old Man's Child, Sensa Anima) and Nocturno Culto (Darkthrone). The group's debut album, Vorunah, was released in April. The touring lineup is completed by Asgeir Mickelson, Cyrus, and Anders Hunstad .
Sarke was joined on stage at Wacken Open Air by Tom Gabriel Fischer (Celtic Frost, Hellhammer) for a performance of the Celtic Frost's classic "Dethroned Emperor."
