Ripple News - The Playing for Change Phenomenon Continues to Grow

What is "Playing for Change"?

Playing for Change is a historic campaign for world peace by filmmaker Mark Johnson, who spent four years documenting musicians as they performed some of our most beloved songs, reinforcing the idea of music as the universal language.

As you view the videos for the classic songs "War/No More Trouble," "Stand By Me" or "One Love," the music's effectiveness at bringing people together is powerfully evident. PBS is now airing the documentary Playing for Change: Peace Through Music, but these three videos have caused a sensation online, with over 17 million views between them on YouTube.
