Desert Storm are a formidable force in British heavy metal. Hailing from Oxford, England, the band formed in 2007 and have since carved out a reputation for their genre-defying blend of stoner, sludge, post-metal, and doom. Now, 19 years deep into their journey, they remain impossible to pigeonhole—constantly evolving, yet unmistakably Desert Storm. If you’re drawn to titanic riffs, intricate sonic textures, and vocals that balance ferocity with raw emotion, Desert Storm deliver that and more.

Recorded at Woodworm Studios in Oxfordshire and mixed/mastered by Joe Clayton of Pijn at Nø Studio, their forthcoming album “Buried Under The Weight Of Reason” is the anticipated follow-up to 2023’s acclaimed "Death Rattle". Released worldwide via the renowned European label Heavy Psych Sounds Records — home to legends like Pentagram, Bongzilla, Conan, and Mondo Generator — the record marks a bold step forward for the mighty foursome.

“Buried Under The Weight Of Reason” is both punishing and transcendent. The sound is massive, raw and unforgiving, yet layered with moments of elation and electrical ecstasy. Desert Storm continue to push boundaries with a sound that’s as heavy as it is honest and cathartic.
