The band explores new sonic horizons, blending psychedelic fuzz guitars with gritty, atmospheric soundscapes, creating a heavy yet immersive experience. The album will be released on three exclusive vinyl editions and digitally. The first single “All I See” is out now.
Mount Hush’s upcoming album "II" is shaping up to be a transformative journey through heavy psychedelic landscapes, taking listeners from lush valleys to towering peaks. Slated for release on November 9th, this album builds on the foundation of their debut but amps up the raw intensity, with a grittier sound captured in their own studio. It’s mixed by Maximilian Wörle and mastered by Dimo Conidas for a finely polished, yet untamed feel.
The album kicks off with an extended version of their October 4th single, “All I See.” It sets the tone with tremolo-drenched fuzz guitars and evocative vocals that pull you into their sonic dreamworld. “Golden Sun” follows, offering an otherworldly vibe that shifts into expansive melodies and a crushing solo — pure psychedelic bliss. Next up is “The Hunt”, a krautrock-inspired track that transitions into heavy blues, evoking the tension and reward of a tough but worthwhile journey. The first half wraps up with “Blues For The Dead,” a deeply atmospheric blues track that crescendos into a powerful and haunting finale.
On the B-side, “Grey Smoke” bursts in with high-energy punk rock energy, driven by relentless drums. The album's longest track, “Celestial Eyes,” previously released as a single, shines with new clarity in the album’s refined mix. “54” brings in a signature riff that unfolds into sweeping melodies, layered with an atmospheric interlude featuring an extended flute section—unexpected and mesmerizing. The album ends with a cathartic heavy fuzz track, closing on a powerful vocal line that conjures the image of an apocalyptic world, but hints at the promise of new beginnings.
With their signature psychedelic heaviness and experimental flair, Mount Hush is pushing into new territory.
