UP IN SMOKE INDOOR FESTIVAL 2019 CONFIRMS MONOLORD + CHURCH OF MISERY + THE MACHINE + FIREBREATHER + E-L-R !

Smokers!

It's time for us to drop some more names for our Up In Smoke Festival 2019!

MONOLORD. It’s been stated before that the Lord is from Sweden and finally we can introduce you, here he is MONOLORD. The Gothenburg three piece has been delivering legendary club shows and festival appearances all over Europe and now it’s finally time for them to rock UP IN SMOKE. Folks prepare your airguitars and fake pedalboards, because this is gonna be massive. Sludgy riffs blended with doom and a whole lotta rock ‘n’ roll is on the menu.

FIREBREATHER. Let’s stay a little longer in Sweden and Gothenburg, there’s more on the shopping list. Let’s stick to three guys and doom and we end up with FIREBREATHER. This is probably one of the smokiest bands you’ll get to see at the festival this year. Gear up, these guys knows the term riff worship and how to incorporate a crazy groove in a doom tune. Here you can fill up your mind with some high octane doom.

THE MACHINE. Start your coffee machine, the Dutch coffee fueled fuzz rockers THE MACHINE will pay us a visit. Hailing form the Rotterdam area they filled up their coffe mugs and and started to jam already back in 2007. Original bass player Hans van Heemst parted ways with the band after their latest effort, «Facelift», was recorded early 2018. Now it’s time for you to get a piece of that coffe injected fuzz.

CHURCH OF MISERY. Japanese doom dealers CHURCH OF MISERY is back on European soil and ready to shake your guts with low tuned guitar and brutal bass riffs. It’s with great pleasure we wish them welcome back. Tatsu Mikami has kept the doom metal alive on the Japanese metal scene since 1995, so it’s just fair that his contribution is being shared with the rest of the world.

E-L-R. Are you ready for some monumental, atmospheric and hypnotic post rock? Be prepared for a musical roller coaster ride up and down the Swiss alpine valleys. E-L-R is here to conquer the world, blow out your ear drums and serve you the sound of the 2020’s. Make sure to be on time for this show, this is just the beginning of something big.
