Brat Curse readies LP for Anyway Records

Columbus, Ohio, the city that brought you New Bomb Turks, Gaunt, Thomas Jefferson Slave Apartments, Lydia Loveless, Lo-Pan, twentyonepilots, etc. has new favorite sons. Brat Curse debuts their second full-length, and first for Anyway with the self-titled Brat Curse.

Formed in 2014 in Dayton, Ohio, by Brian Baker, Justin Baker and Chris Mengerink, Brat Curse takes their cue from a long line of Ohio heroic art-damaged, indie rock guitar bands. Additionally, the band members stick to a well worn Ohio pattern of playing in a variety of bands, as  Brian plays in Dana (Heel Turn Records) and Sega Genocide (Just Because), his brother Justin also plays in WV White (Anyway), Chris plays in Good Shade (Dirtnap) and they welcome new comer Joe Camerlengo (Van Dale, Counterfeit Madison, Blanket Boys). The sound of Brat Curse fondly recalls the snotty spark of their midwestern forefathers, as well as Jawbreaker and Guided By Voices.

The album sees release on August 2, and the band will tour extensively in the second half of 2019. LP pressing is limited to 200 copies and will be available in LP and digital formats.
