MOS GENERATOR: Washington-Based Volume Dealers Premiere "Strangest Times" At Revolver; Band Kicks Off North American Tour + Abyssinia Release Day Nears
In advance of the release of Abyssinia, the anticipated new full-length from Washington-based volume dealers, MOS GENERATOR, today Revolver streams opening psalm "Strangest Times"
Issue MOS GENERATOR
guitarist/vocalist Tony Reed of the harmony-strewn track, "I like
getting directly to the guts of things at the beginning of a record.
Within two seconds after it starts, 'Strangest Times' is in full flight
and all instruments and vocals are in play. It's a pusher about the
weight of guilt and the sacrifices people make to move through this life
with one another. Unlike some of the other material on Abyssinia, it's a very typical MOS GENERATOR song. Quick and to the point a very fun to play live."

You can also sample "Wicked Willow," still streaming at Decibel at THIS LOCATION.

MOS GENERATOR
formed during the Winter of 2000 in Port Orchard, Washington from the
ashes of a decade-long on-again-off-again collaboration between its
three members, all of which are long time veterans of the road and
studio. The need to strip down to the basics of hard rock was apparent
from the start and continues to be the foundation for the band's recent
material. MOS GENERATOR has released six studio albums as well as
an album retrospective, a live offering, and a plethora of split 7" and
12" singles on such labels as Listenable, Roadburn, Small Stone,
Ripple, Nasoni, Lay Bare, Hevi Sike, H42, Devil's Child, and Heavy Psych
Sounds.
