The Obelisk has premiered an exclusive B-side track from desert doomsters, FUZZ EVIL, as the band continues to construct their debut LP.
Now in their second year together, the FUZZ EVIL trio
has completed the recording of their as-yet-untitled maiden album deep
in the gritty Tombstone area of their homeland in Southern Arizona,
which will see release early next year. While little else on the album
is currently available, the band has offered up an early listen from the
recording sessions through a giveaway of "Born Of Iron." While the
track will not be featured on the upcoming LP, it gives fans and
newcomers alike a dose of the material the band has been creating.
Alongside inside info on the album and exclusive commentary from the band, "Born Of Iron" is now streaming at The Obelisk RIGHT HERE, and is downloadable through the band HERE.
The FUZZ EVIL
full length will be released by Battleground Records in early 2016 on
180-gram colored vinyl and digital platform. Stand by for additional
details to come over the remainder of the year. The band's split 7" with
Chiefs is currently available HERE.
With additional tour dates to be announced through the months ahead, FUZZ EVIL has
been confirmed to perform at Southwest Terror Fest Vol. 4, performing
the closing evening's show on Sunday, October 18th alongside Acid King, Demon Lung, Night Demon and Ice Sword.
FUZZ EVIL Live:

Comprised of brothers Wayne and Joey Rudell on vocals/guitar and vocals/bass, respectively, and drummer Marlin Tuttle, FUZZ EVIL
delivers solid, groove-laden, heavy psych rock, with big-ass rock jams
fans of Grand Funk Railroad, Jimi Hendrix and Steppenwolf will dig, as
well as the prime riff/stoner rock contingent devout to the works of
Goatsnake, Queens of The Stone Age, Clutch, and the Rudell brothers'
other outfit, Powered Wig Machine. Following their debut split with
Chiefs via Battleground Records, the band founded the Borderland Fuzz
Fiesta in their home state, and has played live and toured throughout
the Southwest extensively.
