What if I told you that it was possible to take some of the biggest influential bands in the stoner rock scene, mix up their sound and the end result would be something completely new, breathtaking and awe inspiring. You'd probably say I was either high or full of shit. Honestly, I don't really care because that is exactly what Arrowhead's latest album sounds like. It's like they took the best of Clutch, The Atomic Bitchwax, Fu Manchu, Nebula and Kyuss and gave it a nice polish along with some TLC and presented it as Atomsmasher. The album wraps itself around, into and through your brain, squeezes and doesn't let go. Is this the best new album you'll hear in 2013? Yeah, probably. If not, it'll be a very close 2nd.
