Californian heavy rock label RIPPLE MUSIC marks 15 years of
earth-shaking riffs with a special anniversary party at
For over a decade, Ripple Music has been a heavyweight
powerhouse within the international heavy rock scene, releasing pure sonic gems
from legendary acts such as Hermano, The Obsessed and Scott "Wino
Weinrich" to underground pillars Wo Fat, Thunder Horse, Valley of the Sun,
Steak and more. On December 6th, expect a full-blown earthquake at
Ripple Music founder Todd Severin enthuses: "When we
started as a little label simply with the goal of releasing some good guitar
rock, I'd never expected 15 years later we'd be where we are; one of the
world's leading labels for heavy psych/stoner/doom, running festivals around
the planet, and approaching our 300th release. My mind is blown, and none of
this could happen without our pack of absolutely crazy staff volunteers, the
talent of the amazing musicians we work with, the incredible support of the
fans, and the tireless efforts of the many blogs, magazines, and podcasts that

Fireball Ministry (
From the beginning, Fireball Ministry has aggressively
steered clear of pretension, desperation for validation, and all manner of
poseurdom, throwing down analog-soaked, bottom-heavy tunes, and tipping a hat
toward timeless hard rock, without ever descending into the depths of mere
retread or throwaway novelty swill. Sabbath soaked rhythms, Priest-worshipping
melodies, and no-nonsense Thin Lizzy mayhem collide in the Hollywood,
California band, a group that has humbly but confidently flown the flag for
rock authenticity since the hard-partying year of 1999.
ZED (
ZED makes rock the way it should be made. Loud guitars, a
shot of whiskey and a middle finger. Taking it cues from the greats like
Zeppelin, Sabbath and AC/DC, but combining them with their contemporary musical
influences such as Clutch, Rage Against the Machine and Queens of the Stone
Age, creating a mixture that is new, yet familiar.
Blackwülf (
Blackwülf prowl the musical feeding grounds of stoner rock,
doom-cloaked soundscapes and vintage heavy metal. Dark sonic forests that
provide coverage for their unholy mix of parapsychological anger and aggression
and bluesy, headbanging riffs. With a resume that includes member stints with
bands like
Ripple Music is the passion-driven imprint that leading
metal magazine Decibel Magazine declared "has made a splash in heavy rock
and metal,” and Alternative Control labeled "powerhouse tastemaker".
The independent Californian label is known and revered worldwide for unearthing
the finest bands in heavy rock and metal and being home to leading acts such as
The Obsessed, Hermano, Scott "Wino" Weinrich, Poobah, Wo Fat or
Colour Haze. Dubbing their festival series "Ripplefest", the record
