Fresh from the friendly confines of the Electric Station
(also known as the jam space for Stone Machine Electric) comes Gallo, the third
full-length release from Slow Draw. Slow
Draw, for those that don’t kow, is the solo- project of Mark Kitchens who also
happens to be one half of the Doom Jazz duo known as Stone Machine
Electric. In addition to the aforementioned
full-lengths you will also find a demo, an EP and a live album release. The Electric Station is a veritable breeding
ground for musical creation.
Gallo takes you on an intergalactic journey where darkness
lies at the fringes of your psyche. A
place where fear is obsolete and indelible truths are ultimately revealed. The tones created within this album are rich,
warm and comforting. You will feel
gently caressed, hypnotized and seduced in the hands of this musical
architect. Armed with only a keyboard,
synth, theremin, cigar box guitar and an acoustic guitar Kitchens has created
an acoustic psychedelic folk drone epic.
This pairs well with meditation, yoga and cheesy sci-fi in
the vain of Red Dwarf.

DOOM show)
