Oakland California,
heavy rockers, War Cloud, set to hit the road to SXSW and finish work on their
new album, "State of Shock." In the process, they welcome their new
guitarist Jesse Serrano to the fold. Jesse, a very physical guitar presence,
replaces the departed Tony Campos.
Jesse's unconventional style makes him a uniquely talented shredder,
he'll bend the neck and body of his guitar and pull springs with his picking
hand to make electrifying sounds.
Meanwhile, Jesse features strongly into the recording of the
new album "State of Shock." The album crosses over many genres of hard
rock and heavy metal, raging through thrashing, chugging, and riffing, but also
takes some lighter approaches to the new material. The overall theme has a
strong tie to a war-time mentality: combat, despondency, and triumph.
"State Of Shock"
is all about fast and fun driving rock and roll but you can expect some equally
dark undertones. The album is scheduled
for a release date in Sept 2019.
