Philly Heavy Rock Horde Set to Bring High-Powered Live Show on the Road
"Philadelphia’s current reigning kings and queen of psychedelic rock." - METALSUCKS
RUBY THE HATCHET
Philadelphia Psych-Metal band RUBY THE HATCHET has announced North American tour dates in support of its celebrated new album, Valley of the Snake. The esoteric quintet, let by dynamic vocalist Jillian Taylor, will kick off the live run on September 9
in Atlanta, GA, joining the UK's Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats for a
three week cross-country jaunt. Immediately following the highly
anticipated team-up, RUBY THE HATCHET will headline a slew of shows from October 4-13. "We are beyond excited to pack in the van and hit the road this fall! This will be our first full tour and we are overdue," comments Taylor. "Valley of the Snake is the perfect album for us to start with, and we cannot wait to bring the energy of our live show to all the people across the US and Canada who have shown so much support over the years. Blood, sweat and good vibes. See you all very soon."
Heavy-handed and hypnotic in equal parts, RUBY THE HATCHET creates the perfect shape shift between psych density and metal grandiosity, representing something utterly imposing; primeval and oppressively heavy while maintaining a level of breathless intensity over the course of the full album. Valley of the Snake is a six song journey; a fantastical trek with huge, blistering tracks that journey over peaks and valleys and ditches and oceans before leaving you spinning. Stream Valley of the Snake now at this location.

"The
Philadelphia quartet wraps riffs around ribcages and grabs groove by
the gonads, enveloping the subsequent sonic storm in a miasma of
menacing mysticism...Valley of the Snake's combo of might meeting melody
is simply too satisfying." - AUSTIN CHRONICLE
"Ruby The Hatchet play a bewitching form of proto-metal that references the genre’s greats while putting their own stamp on the proceedings..a commanding display of hard rock mastery...easily one of the best loud rock albums you will hear all year." - VERBICIDE
