Sharing news from Borracho - - - It's been nearly a year since we've dropped a new release, and we're excited to kick of 2015 with a killer new split 7″. Last year we met Gary from Palaver Records when we played in Nashville, and we talked about working together on a new series of split 7″s. As it turns out, we're part of the very first release under the Sludgy Erna Bastard series, along with Brooklyn, NY's undefinable Eggnogg. The limited edition of 300 copies will be available on March 19, pressed to black vinyl, with original artwork by Eggnogg's own Justin Karol. Our contribution to the split is the song "King's Disease." The bones of this track were laid down back in 2009 during the band's earliest recording session. Resurrected with a new mix by Frank Marchand and all new lyrics and vocals by guitarist/vocalist Steve Fisher recorded during the "Oculus" recording session, King'sDisease reaches back into history with a sordid tale of hubris that just as easily applies to today's military industrial complex. Both tracks are now streaming on The Obelisk, and you can preorder from Palaver Records or from our Bandcamp site. Hope you dig it. And, for those of you in the eastern US, catch us live this Spring. More shows to be announced!
