Fan-filmed video footage of the original lineup of The Rods — the classic '80s metal band led by Ronnie James Dio's cousin, guitarist David "Rock" Feinstein — performing at the South Texas Rock Fest in San Antonio, Texas on May 23, 2009 has been posted on YouTube. The Rods was scheduled to shoot its very first HD-DVD at the legendary The Haunt nightclub in Ithaca, New York on May 16. This performance was in support of The Rods' forthcoming CD, Vengeance, which features Ronnie James Dio on vocals on selected tracks.
The Rods' lineup includes Feinstein on guitar/vocals, Garry Bordonaro on bass and Carl Canedy on drums.
