SCORPION CHILD Releases Video for New Song "Reaper's Danse"

Texas hard rock band SCORPION CHILD releases its new LP, Acid Roulette, today via Nuclear Blast Entertainment. In celebration, the group has released an animated video for the new song, "Reaper's Danse", created by Costin Chioreanu (Enslaved, Alcest) of Twilight 13 Media. See SCORPION CHILD's "Reaper's Danse" video at THIS location.

Acid Roulette is the follow-up to SCORPION CHILD's 2013 self-titled debut, which earned the quintet a "Best New Band" nomination at the Classic Rock magazine presented Classic Rock Awards and was praised as "straight-up kickass rock and roll" by Revolver. The conceptual album chronicles "the life trials of a traveling man wrongly imprisoned for a murderous crime", via a pulse-raising story conceived by vocalist Aryn Jonathan Black. Acid Roulette has been hailed as, "sonic slam" by the Austin Chronicle, who added that the album's songs own, "a wider reach than those on the first album, venturing beyond the borders of Zeppelin land into realms ruled by Rainbow and Blue Öyster Cult."

"If radio was still interested in breaking new bands rather than propping up dinosaurs I'd say Scorpion Child was a gold record already in the bag, but don't let the lack of mainstream exposure fool you: this is some of the catchiest, most immediately accessible guitar rock you've heard since glam dominated Dial MTV back in the day...instantly infectious" - METAL INJECTION
